You are what you eat - Food influences fetus sex

I’ve recently stumbled over this article that claims higher protein intake by pregnant mothers increase the chances of having a baby boy. This makes perfect sense to me.

But I do think that the influence is rather small, but not neglectable. The study clearly shows that women in modern societies who eat diet foods have daughters, this is also reflected in the global decrease of male new-borns.

The question now remains if the sex is determined at conception, and the protein and vitamin intake at conception or if the food influences the fetus sex after conception…
